Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 August 2026 · Applies to Alistair Games and every game we publish.
What we collect, and why
Support messages: your name, email address and what you write. We use them to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a support channel. They arrive in our email inbox and are stored nowhere else.
Newsletter signups: your email address and nothing else, on the basis of your consent. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes the address.
In our games: crash reports, and gameplay statistics like how far people get and where a level is losing them. Google's Firebase collects both so we can fix and balance the games, on the basis of our legitimate interest in shipping something that works. Crash reports are kept 90 days, statistics 14 months.
Those statistics are about all our players in aggregate, not about you. None of the games we have published carry advertising or collect an advertising identifier. If that changes we will say so here and in the store listing before it happens.
In those parts of the United States that require it, we ask Apple which age bracket your account falls into. We are obliged to check; we are not obliged to keep it, so we do not. Nothing in the game behaves differently either way.
This website counts page views so we know whether anyone is reading it. That is done without cookies and without following you anywhere — our host, Vercel, works it out from the request itself and keeps nothing that identifies you. We rely on our legitimate interest in knowing the site works.
We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Your rights
Email privacy@alistairgames.com and you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it for a particular purpose, restrict it while a question is sorted out, or send you a portable copy. We will answer within one month, and will tell you inside that month if a request is complex enough to need longer.
Where we rely on your consent — the newsletter, and nothing else — you can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us. That does not undo anything done while it was in force.
There is little to delete: your support messages if you have written to us, and your email address if you subscribed. Crash reports and gameplay statistics age out on their own and are not tied to your name or address. Saved progress is in your own Apple account, so it is yours to delete and we could not reach it if you asked.
One honest caveat about email: we can delete our copies of a conversation, and will. We cannot reach a reply already sitting in your mailbox, and a message may persist briefly in routine backups.
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first — we would rather fix it. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country, and you do not need our permission to do that. These rights apply wherever you live; we would rather run one standard than several.
Younger players
Our games are for everyone, which is not the same as being made for children — we do not target them, market to them, or design for them specifically. We do build so younger players are safe if they do play: no open chat, no behavioural advertising, no profiles built about anyone.
If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has sent us personal information, write to privacy@alistairgames.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top of this page and mention it in-game or in the release notes. We will not quietly rewrite history.
